Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14 1988) is an American actor, singer, and dancer. Her early Broadway parts included Wicked Legally Blonde & Hair. in You Can't Take It With You in which she was awarded the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in an Play. Annaleigh has worked on projects with award-winning director, actors, and producers throughout the course of her professional career. Ashford will be next starring opposite Kumail Nanjiani on the Hulu limited series Welcome to Chippendales from creator Robert Siegel premiering on November 22. Ashford is currently in the making of Searchlight Pictures' terror thriller Dust with Sarah Paulson. The film will stream on Disney's DTC platforms and will be available as a Hulu Original. Ashford will be returning in 2023 and will be starring opposite Josh Groban at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in the return of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. Thomas Kail, director and producer of Hamilton will lead the production. Ashford's latest performance was Paula Jones on Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment. The series is based on a National scandal that featured Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky, as well as Linda Tripp. Two seasons ago, Ashford was the main character of CBS's hit comedy B Positive. The series was created by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. Also, it included Ben Vereen as well as Hector Elizondo.
